A firm, Seven Computer Logistics Limited, is set to make a bold mark in Nigeria's agro-processing sector with the official commissioning of its state-of-the-art flour production facility slated for March 16, 2026. A statement shared with Society Plus noted that the facility, which is located in Delta State, will produce flour from plantain, yam, cassava, rice, and other starches. It added, "The launch, themed 'From our soil to the world, transforming local harvests into global opportunities', promises to be a landmark event, drawing stakeholders from agriculture, business, media, and development sectors, alongside community leaders and partners." Speaking ahead of the commissioning, the company's Managing Director, Raymond Ananenu, described the project as the realisation of a long-held dream focused on adding value to locally harvested produce. He said, "This is an idea I have nurtured for several years. Flour production has great value and market potential. I saw the need to invest in it and decided to bring the project to my hometown, where the raw materials are readily available." The statement added that the company is adopting a farm-to-production model, ensuring that raw materials flow directly from local farms to the processing facility. It also stated that the unveiling of the plant is expected to create jobs, support local farmers, and establish the firm as a significant player in the agro-processing industry.
