The Nigeria Police Force has trained 56 officers and approved the establishment of new counter-terrorism bases in Adamawa, Cross River and Ogun states as part of efforts to strengthen its response to security threats. The training programme, organised for personnel of the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), was conducted in collaboration with the British High Commission in Nigeria through the Office of the Counter Terrorism Regional Coordinator for West Africa.
