XeJet Chairman, Emmanuel Iza with the President of NBBF, Musa Kida Aviation services company XE Jet has entered into a landmark strategic partnership with the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) to become the Official Aviation Partner of Nigeria's Senior Women's National Basketball Team, D'Tigress. The agreement, announced in Abuja, represents one of the most significant aviation partnerships in African basketball and reflects a growing collaboration between the sports and aviation sectors aimed at supporting Nigeria's most successful women's basketball programme. The announcement comes at a crucial moment as D'Tigress prepare to compete in the upcoming FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Qualifiers scheduled to take place in Lyon, France from March 11 to 17, 2026. President of the NBBF, Musa Kida, described the agreement as a major milestone in strengthening the commercial and operational structure of Nigerian basketball. According to him, the partnership demonstrates increasing confidence among corporate organisations in the growth and global reputation of Nigerian basketball.
