In the evolving political landscape of Kaduna North federal constituency, where youth unemployment, skills gaps, and the quest for inclusive representation remain pressing challenges, one figure stands out for his track record of service without holding elective office. Hon. Abdulazeez Abubakar Kaka, at 38 embodies the generational shift Nigerian politics urgently requires -- one rooted in action, not mere aspiration. As the founder of the Kowa Namu Ne Foundation, everyone is ours in Hausa, symbolising collective ownership) and chairman of the APC Youth Stakeholders Forum, Kaka has transformed lives across the wards of Kaduna North. His work aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Uba Sani's sustainable development priorities, delivering tangible results at the grassroots. Through sustained skills acquisition programmes under the Renewed Hope Skills Empowerment Initiative, Kaka has trained and graduated over 5,000 youths statewide. The 10th cohort, concluded in early 2026, empowered 500 participants -- many from Fulani communities in areas like Unguwan Dosa -- with vocational training in milk processing, throw-pillow production, computer basics, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship. These programmes equip beneficiaries to create jobs rather than seek them, addressing a core driver of youth restiveness. Education remains a cornerstone. Kaka has sponsored JAMB and SSCE registrations, coaching, and tutorials for hundreds of students from government secondary schools. In the most recent cycle, 300 students received full support, including intensive preparation to boost success rates and open pathways to higher education or skilled trades. Economic inclusion follows suit: permanent, pensionable jobs secured in federal and state institutions for multiple young constituents; cash grants (₦50,000 and above) to scores; nano-empowerment packages distributed to over 1,500 small business owners; and food palliatives reaching thousands during hardship periods. Community cohesion is equally prioritised. The ongoing ST/KAKA Renewed Hope Ramadan Unity Cup leverages football to foster peace, brotherhood, and inspiration among youth. Large-scale Iftar gatherings reconnect wards, while the Kowa Namu Ne Foundation Islamic School provides textbooks, exercise books, and moral education support. Kaka's influence extends beyond local impact. As a key voice in Renewed Hope Youth Engagement (advising alongside Seyi Tinubu) and a special guest at the 1st Northwest Progressive Youth Summit 2026, he advocates regionally for youth inclusion, grants, loans, and palliatives. His coalition-building -- welcoming defectors from opposition parties and strengthening APC's hold in Kaduna -- demonstrates maturity in a polarised environment. Governor Uba Sani's recent warning against "conflict merchants" ahead of the 2027 cycle underscores the need for leaders who unite rather than divide. Kaka fits this mould: his non-elitist approach crosses urban-rural, ethnic, and generational lines, earning organic support through deeds. Kaduna North deserves a representative who has already proven capable of attracting federal resources, forging partnerships, and translating policy into people-centred progress. Kaka is not campaigning on promises -- he is scaling what he has already begun. His entry into the race would energise the APC base, inspire greater youth participation, and reinforce the party's commitment to inclusive renewal. In a constituency hungry for results over rhetoric, Kaka represents renewal in action. Kowa Namu Ne is more than a slogan; it is a philosophy of shared progress that has already taken root. As primaries approach, the question is not whether he should contest -- but how much further his impact can extend with the platform of the House of Representatives. Kaduna North's future is brighter with leaders like him at the helm. Source: https://blueprint.ng/kaduna-north-kaka-and-renewed-hope-consolidation/
