The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his relentless efforts in developing infrastructure, particularly roads, across the state. In a statement signed by the NAOSS National President, Lekan Olubodun, the Association praised the governor's unprecedented feat of commissioning a new road every week. Olubodun observed that the recent commissioning of the Imasayi/Igan-Okoto/Ayetoro road (Phase 2B) on Thursday, is a testament to the governor's commitment to improving the state's infrastructure both in the urban and rural centres. He noted that the road connecting three towns in Yewa North Local Government Area, will boost commerce along the axis and enhance the transportation of farm produce, contributing to food security and agricultural growth in the state and Nigeria. NAOSS added that with the priority given to building roads, the incumbent administration will go down in history as the best in terms of infrastructural development across the state. The Association equally commended Governor Abiodun for his strides in the education sector, particularly in providing infrastructure, digital learning tools, and welfare for teachers. According to NAOSS, the recent emergence of a teacher from the state as the Best Teacher in the country is a testament to the governor's positive interventions in the education sector. It, however, reiterated its support for the administration's efforts to reposition the education sector and take it to enviable heights. "The Association believes that Governor Abiodun's administration is on the right track and urges him to continue his good work. NAOSS is proud to support the governor's vision for a developed Ogun State. "The Imasayi/Igan-Okoto/Ayetoro road will have a positive impact on the lives of residents, enhancing their economic opportunities and overall well-being. NAOSS applauds the governor's commitment to improving the state's infrastructure. "We are confident that with Governor Abiodun's leadership, Ogun State will continue to experience significant growth and development. Therefore, NAOSS pledges its continued support for the administration's initiatives. "We also urge all stakeholders to join in supporting Governor Abiodun's efforts to develop Ogun State, making it a hub for investment and excellence", the statement concluded.
